MAITREE facilitated a Memorandum of Understanding between Delhi Transco Limited (DTL), Delhi government’s state transmission utility, and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) for energy efficiency retrofits in DTL facilities. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Shri Singh Director, DTL and Shri Sanjay Saraswat, National Program Manager for EESL’s BEEP program, on 14th August. Nearly 60 DTL buildings and substations will be retrofitted through EESL at an estimated cost of 4.25 crores or 600,000 USD.
