The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) launched the Net-Zero Energy Rating System in 2018. While recognizing that energy efficiency is the first step towards advancing net-zero, the rating system will drive market transformation to enhance building energy efficiency on a continuous basis while using renewable sources to meet building energy demands.

The webinar brought on board the Counsellor at IGBC -Dr. Shivraj Dhaka. He presented the IGBC Net-Zero Energy Rating System including the program requirements, compliance approaches and process of achieving the certification, along with interesting insights into net-zero strategies for the existing CII Godrej building.
