Sep 14, 2019 NZEB Tour | Unnati, GainWell CAT, Greater Noida

 
A tour of Unnati, office building of Gainwell CAT at Noida, was organised on Sep 14, 2019.

The tour received 22 participants including those from Amity University, D B alliance, Arcop Associates Pvt Ltd, Engineers India limited, Ansal School of Architecture, OP Jindal Global University, Jindal School of Art and Architecture, JSAA OP JG University Sonipat, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Anand College of Architecture, Agra and Sharda University.

Unnati is constructed within the five acre campus of Gainwell CAT and it has been awarded the LEED Platinum rating under v4 BD+C category. The building has an EPI of 60 kWh/m2/year, owing to the climate-responsive design strategies which help to minimize energy consumption. The building is an epitome of low-tech but high-impact sustainability features such as eco-reserve and rooftop garden, daylight integration, personal cross-flow fans at every desk, optimized building envelope and Hybrid HVAC with water-cooled air handling units and floor-embedded radiant cooling system.
