Nov 23, 2019 NZEB Tour | Infosys campus, Hyderabad

 
A tour of the Infosys campus at Hyderabad was organized on November 23, 2019. 

The tour received 53 participants, including those from Jacobs, AEEE, Arch & Decor, BreatheEasy Consultants Pvt Ltd, Amity University, D B Alliance, Arcop Associates Pvt. Ltd., Engineers India limited, Ansal School of Architecture, OP Jindal Global University, Jindal School of Art and Architecture, O.P.Jindal Global University, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Anand College of Architecture, Agra and Sharda University. Infosys campus at Hyderabad has set an example by lowering the monthly energy consumption per employee by 50% despite an increase of 150% of the employee strength over the last decade.     

The participants were taken on a guided tour of the facility which included an on-site 6.6 MW solar PV farm,, rainwater management system,, waste management system, etc. The participants also experienced the passive design strategies implemented, which contributed to lower energy consumption of the  buildings.
